Isadora Capraro (b. 1994, Italy) is an Italian–Latin artist who grew up in Argentina and moved to Flanders, Long Island 7 years ago. She studied fine arts at Manuel Belgrano in Buenos Aires, where a classical European foundation expanded through her exposure to Abstract Expressionism in the United States. Drawing from her investigations into spirituality, yoga, and surrender. Capraro channels this through a mixture of both vivid and out of focus figures immersed in saturated, earth-toned environments that feel grounded and transcendent.  She constructs intimate spaces where textured backgrounds and serene poses linger between action and stillness through various media including oil, acrylic, spray paint, fresco, pastels, and charcoal. Capraro has exhibited in the United States, Italy, South America, and Dubai. She completed Takeover 2020 Residency at Southampton Arts Center and will attend a two-month residency at HITO in Buenos Aires beginning in March 2026.
